  • Technical Support Specialist - Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    Description: This is a part-time to full-time, hourly position in the Technical Support department.

    Responsibilities:
    Provide first level Technical support
    • Answer incoming technical support calls
    • Log user problems in detail in online tech support module
    • Determine scope of problem and take appropriate action
    • Troubleshoot and resolve user problems on a timely manner
    • Escalate problems to Technical Support Shift Supervisor.

    Qualifications:
    • Speak both English and Spanish fluently.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all skill levels.
    • Knowledgeable in Windows XP, ME, Windows 98, 95 and/or Mac OS 7-10 operating systems.
    • Knowledgeable in Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer
    • Knowledgeable in modem configuration.
    • Ability to type by touch.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Ability to follow instructions.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
    • PC hardware knowledge a plus.
    • Knowledge of Unix/Linux a plus.
    • Knowledge of HTML a plus.
    • Previous Internet troubleshooting experience a plus.
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
