- Technical Support Specialist - Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Description: This is a part-time to full-time, hourly position in the Technical Support department.
Responsibilities:
Provide first level Technical support- Answer incoming technical support calls
- Log user problems in detail in online tech support module
- Determine scope of problem and take appropriate action
- Troubleshoot and resolve user problems on a timely manner
- Escalate problems to Technical Support Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications:- Speak both English and Spanish fluently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all skill levels.
- Knowledgeable in Windows XP, ME, Windows 98, 95 and/or Mac OS 7-10 operating systems.
- Knowledgeable in Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer
- Knowledgeable in modem configuration.
- Ability to type by touch.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- PC hardware knowledge a plus.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML a plus.
- Previous Internet troubleshooting experience a plus.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
